Winona State Forest Ski Trails

Fellow Skiers, This lack of snow at our home base has forced me to look else where. Today I drove to the Winona State Forest Ski Trails. The conditions were great! We skied on packed ski set trails and then meet the groomer setting tracks. I almost forgot what it was like to ski on such nice fresh tracks. The grooming team indicated that all the ski trails will be groomed for the weekend! They can be found at winonaforest.com. The drive is about 1.5 hrs but you get to ski on snow instead of ice! I'm going back tomorrow.
