Trail Clearing
Volunteers should arrive at McIntosh Chalet at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Tools are provided but please bring your own if you prefer. If the trail clearing party has left when you arrive, its destination will be noted on the message board in the waxroom.
If you plan on making it a long session bring some lunch with you, but if you only have an hour or so to spare, feel free to leave at any time.
A map will be posted in the wax room marking which trails have been cleared. Anyone who is unable to join the main party on a Sunday is encouraged to come out and clear trails any time and mark the map showing where you have cleared. If you choose to work alone be sure you are aware of the trails located on Crown land and those on private property.
This is a good opportunity for anyone who is not familiar with the ski trails to get to know their way around before the snow flies. The more trail clearing volunteers - the better condition the trails will be in for skiing.
